Job Description Summary

Our surgeons have completed specialized training (fellowships) in Mohs micrographic surgery. This technique is the gold standard of care for skin cancer that requires tissue-sparing surgery. Mohs allows us to remove cancer with an extremely high success rate, giving you the best chance at becoming cancer-free.

We offer extensive expertise for any skin cancer diagnosis, including:

Basal Cell Carcinoma
Melanoma
Squamous Cell Carcinoma
Reconstruction after Mohs Surgery
Our senior Mohs surgeon is nationally and internationally recognized as an expert in reconstructive surgery following skin cancer removal. Most patients can complete their skin cancer removal and surgical reconstruction in the same day.

Job Description

Responsible for processing all specimens received in the Histology laboratory under minimal supervision. This position requires independent judgment in selection of methodologies utilized in processing tissue specimens and in solving routine problems.  Histotechnologists contribute to the overall efficiency of the laboratory or pathology practice in a cost effective manner by performing a variety of tasks, consisting primarily of preparing and Histological processing of all surgical pathology specimens in preparation for pathologist review and diagnosis.

Education: Bachelors Degree or equivalent Work Experience: 5 years for support or 0-2 years for professional
